Job Summary

Role Overview: Control-M Administrator

As a Control-M Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be a hands-on subject matter expert in infrastructure, contributing to both immediate project needs and long-term IT strategy. Your responsibilities will include analyzing technical challenges, designing solutions, documenting workflows, and ensuring smooth hand-offs. You will engage directly with clients to create meaningful impact and will collaborate with architects, technicians, and project managers to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration:

    • Install, configure, and maintain Control-M software (Control-M/Server, Control-M/Agent, Control-M/EM).
    • Perform system monitoring, health checks, and issue troubleshooting.
    • Apply patches, updates, and implement security measures.
    • Develop and execute backup and recovery procedures.

  • Job Scheduling and Workflow Management:

    • Design and manage job workflows, schedules, and dependencies.
    • Collaborate with application teams to implement scheduling requirements.
    • Monitor job execution, resolve failures, and optimize performance.
    • Document schedules and workflows for consistency and reliability.

  • Collaboration and Support:

    • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Control-M with other systems.
    • Provide user guidance and conduct training sessions as needed.
    • Offer best practices and maintain strong client relationships.

    • Qualifications

    Required Experience:

    • 7+ years in Control-M Administration.
    • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing Control-M environments.
    • Expertise in troubleshooting, automation, and integrating Control-M with other applications.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Perl.
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and job scheduling optimization techniques.
    • Certifications in Control-M or workload automation are a plus.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Qualification :
    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    Experience Required :

    Minimum 7 Years
