Job Summary Key Responsibilities As an AbInitio Developer, you will be responsible for the following: Design & Development: Design, develop, analyze, and test applications using AbInitio software products. Deployment & Configuration: Prepare and deploy deployment/configuration scripts within the delivery channel, including production environments. Production Support: Provide troubleshooting and second-line support for production applications, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution. Performance Optimization: Perform performance tuning and code optimization to enhance application efficiency. Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with key stakeholders (technical and functional) to explain the impact of changes and ensure alignment with business needs. Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and knowledge-sharing. Testing Support: Assist testers in performing validations and verifications for application releases. Skills and Experience Must-Have: Experience: 4-7 years of experience as an AbInitio developer, particularly in data-driven or warehousing projects. AbInitio Proficiency: Proven track record of delivering solutions using AbInitio software tools, including: GDE (Graphical Development Environment) Control Center Continuous Flows EME (Enterprise Meta Environment) M-Hub (nice-to-have) Database Expertise: Strong experience with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, and Unix/Linux environments. Software Development Lifecycle: Hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and deployment of software code. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with experience managing both technical and functional stakeholders. Agile Methodology: Strong experience working in Agile environments, with familiarity using tools like JIRA. Self-Starter: Ability to take ownership of projects from design through to deployment with minimal supervision. Creative Problem Solver: Innovative, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Nice-to-Have: Communication & Analytical Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Why Join Us?
