Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in all the technical discussions (Design for manufacturing & related) to make a detailed project scope in terms of technology and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with sourcing & manufacturing engineers and other internal stakeholders with respect to understanding the manufacturing requirements & support supplier development team to find new suppliers.
• You will ensure that all the RFQs are effectively assessed, understood and clarified from the manufacturing point of view (Design for manufacturing) with the customers so that Sourcing & Manufacturing teams can meet the technical requirements of the projects, on time as per the customer s needs.
• You will be responsible for tool/mould related discussions with the suppliers along with the Sourcing team to finalize the design & manufacturing of the same.
• To participate in all the technical discussions with the customer and the suppliers along with the Sales, Sourcing & Manufacturing teams.
• To build the technical capability of the teams by taking regular online/offline training.
• Non-conformance resolution with customers/suppliers along with the Sales, Sourcing & Manufacturing teams.
• Continuous improvement in addition to the activities, you will:
• Collaborate with the Sourcing & supplier development teams to strengthen the network of Suppliers, including technical discussions & understanding the capability.
• Benchmark best practices and leverage lessons learned in multiple projects with Karkhana.io s customers/suppliers.
• Create technical reports when issues are discovered and jointly work for correction and corrective action with the Manufacturing & Quality team till the closure of the same.
• Develop and manage strong strategic relationships with our key stakeholders.
• Responsible for making SOPs, monthly & yearly MIS.
• Knowledge management, documentation of case studies and knowledge transfer.
• Accountable for data management, reporting & analysis.
• Participate in all project reviews and meetings related to the project issues.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of industry experience with hands-on experience in the area of Injection Moulding & related processes (Micro, Reaction, Thin-walled, Vacuum Casting, Overmoulding, Insert Moulding, Cold/Hot runner, Extrusion/Injection Blow Moulding, Post-processing)
• A Master s degree in Manufacturing/CAD-CAM would be an advantage.
• Experience in CNC machining etc. would be an added advantage.
• Must have - strong knowledge of Tooling/Moulds (types, production, operational knowledge, selection, manufacturing application)
• Must have - strong knowledge of post-processing operations
• Knowledge of alternate materials (not based on IS standards) and a good supplier network.
• Basic technical knowledge of engineering design, experience with CAD software (AutoCAD - Mandatory, CATIA & Solidworks would be an added advantage).
• Experience in managing projects, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure delivery as per the scope.
• Comfortably work through ambiguity.
• Location: Mumbai (Ready to relocate as per the business requirement)
• Immediate joining or Max notice period of 1 month with an option of a buyout
