Job Summary

Job Title: Guest Relations Executive (GRE)

Job Responsibilities:


Guest Interaction & Satisfaction


Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.


Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.


Maintain strong guest relationships by anticipating needs and providing personalized service.


Follow up with guests to ensure their stay meets or exceeds expectations.


Front Office Coordination


Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure guest requests are met efficiently.


Assist in room allocation and VIP guest arrangements.


Maintain guest records and update profiles in the Property Management System (PMS).


Guest Experience Enhancement


Arrange for special requests such as amenities, transportation, or event bookings.


Ensure VIP and long-stay guests receive special attention and services.


Collect guest feedback and report recurring issues or suggestions to management for service improvement.


Communication & Reporting


Prepare daily guest reports and share important updates with management and relevant departments.


Communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.


Maintain confidentiality of guest information at all times.


Brand Image & Hospitality Standards


Uphold hotel brand standards in all guest interactions.


Ensure the lobby and reception areas are well-presented and welcoming.


Promote hotel services, facilities, and loyalty programs to guests.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.


Experience: 1–3 years of experience in guest relations, front office, or customer service (preferably in a hotel).


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are an advantage.


Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service orientation, friendly demeanor, and professional appearance.


Problem-Solving: Ability to handle guest complaints tactfully and find effective solutions quickly.


Organization: Attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, IDS, Fidelio), MS Office, and email communication.


Teamwork: Collaborative and cooperative attitude with colleagues and other departments.


Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Minimum qualification requirement
  • Required - Hotel Industry skill with 1 years and 6+ month experience
  • Required - Master or higher education

    Required - Located in Odisha

    Required - Good command over English,Hindi,Odia

    1 to 3 Year
