Job Summary
To identify and develop sewing and embroidery threads and also support other data management related activities of Men s PD Division
Primary Responsibilities:- Source / develop / follow-up for appropriate sewing and embroidery threads as requested by merchandising/Design team/PD tech ensuring on time and right first time as per Process Calendar.
- Liase with bulk sourcing team on the right vendors to choose from and initiate development through those agreed vendors only to ensure all PIL/ Jockey Quality and Standard Parameters are met
- Ensure internal test report before dispatches as per Process Calendar deadlines
- Constant follow-up with vendors to ensure materials are in housed on time Ensuring Vendor dispatches the goods within the agreed timelines with proper dispatch documents (DC#, Invoice with PO# clearly mentioned)
- Ensure colour cards are up to date, available and properly maintained for reference
- Maintain Approved Thread files in HO with clear marking
- Update Vendor profile in SAP and PLM
- Obtain sample requirements from merchandising team to arrange sampling sewing embroidery threads starting from proto stage until Red seal process at PD tech (to be arranged at PD stores)
- Coordinate and assist in procurement of actual yarn dips/shade cards in actual required yarn quality as per process requirement
- enter PO in SAP after getting the necessary VPA Approval
- Submit development information / sourcing detailed file to Sourcing team/PPC /Merchandising team before SCM as per Process Calendar deadlines
- Data management related activities of Men (Inner and Outer): VPA creation, PO preparation, PO clearance after GRN, PO closure in SAP, vendor payment follows up etc as and when requested by each of the vertical heads.
