Job Summary
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical components, installations, and systems to verify compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the project team to review electrical engineering documents, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform inspections and surveillance at various stages of the project, including pre-construction, during construction, and pre-commissioning phases.
- Report and document non-conformities, deviations, and discrepancies, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) specific to electrical engineering activities.
- Ensure that all electrical testing equipment and instruments are calibrated and maintained in proper working condition.
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality-related problems.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and participate in audits, as required.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and compliance among project team members and subcontractors.
