- 5+years of rich experience in Procurement/Purchase of raw material for cattle feed or any feed industry
- Sound knowledge of raw materials specifications and shelf life.
- Good knowledge of major cattle feed raw materials markets/cultivation areas for sourcing at a competitive price.
- Should know the consumption pattern of the major raw materials for timely sourcing
What would you be doing?
- Responsible for general procurement, implementation of purchasing strategies, and management of supplier relationships.
- Responsible for developing a purchase procedure, maintain current & new raw material vendor base and to maintain good relationship
- To develop and maintain current and new ingredient vendor relationships
- To Monitor and analyse agricultural commodity markets both at the locally, national & international for taking decisions
- To coordinate with plant manager for maintaining the minimum stock levels of all raw materials always not hampering the cattle feed production
