JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF DEPUTY MANAGER ENGINEERING


Reporting Manager: Managing Director

Purpose of the Position:- To monitor engineering activities as per company laid down policies and procedures.

Job responsibilities

1. To monitor, guide and provide leadership to all technicians.
2. To monitor and supervise all breakdowns and ensure that corrective and preventive measures are taken to close and prevent all breakdown with in stipulated time frame.
3. To ensure that calibration and preventive maintenance of all machines, instruments and utilities are done as per schedule and records are maintained.
4. To monitor prepare and maintain documentation of engineering department as per established Quality Management System.
5. To ensure that all logbooks and other documentation activities are done online in engineering department.
6. To monitor all electricity related activities.
7. To ensure smooth functioning of HVAC systems, ACs, water system, ETP, chiller, DG & all other utilities.
8. To ensure compliance of all SOP.
9. Any other task assigned by the reporting manager.


Qualification
B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/ECE)
Experience
Total 15 years-20 years experience in engineering department in any industry. Minimum 5 years managerial experience is required

The responsibilities may be reviewed/added as per company requirements from time to time.
