Job Summary

About the role

The candidate will be responsible for leading & managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The below mentioned description included and not limited to key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general accounting activities such as F&A, periodic finalization, financial reporting and compliances, revenue assurances etc.
  • Manage direct taxation, audits and MIS; ensure that tax and regulatory payments, returns and filings are up to date and compliant
  • Ensure timely book closure; monitor monthly operating results against budget;
  • Supervise maintenance of the books of accounts by regularly accounting and updating of expense bookings, depreciation and accruals etc.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets register and Prepare and post monthly Depreciation
  • Recommend best practices to make the Company financial and operational processes of divisions and implement efficient and effective internal controls
  • Prepare reports as required for Audit Committee, Executive
  • Committee and Board meetings; Prepare quarterly standalone results for consolidation;
  • Ensured compliance of financials with Indian GAAP/IFRS accounting standards
  • Preparation of Quarterly Financial Statements and Year end Book closing as per Indian GAAP
    Monitor Bank Reconciliations
  • Regular ledger scrutiny & reconciliation of general ledgers including reconciliation between Loan Management System & General Ledger System
  • Review and clear the intercompany balances with group entities
    ALM reconciliation & Preparation
  • Coordinate with Auditors for Statutory Audit, Tax Audit Internal audit Report
    Obtaining statutory certificates from auditors to be submitted to RBI
  • Submit NBFC returns to RBI on various due dates including regulatory returns to bank

What you will need to have

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate / Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in accounting or a related role. Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho books is preferred. Candidate from financial sector is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Attributes: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong communication skills.

Qualification :
Graduate / Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification is a plus.
