Implement map support algorithms in C++. File format conversions, map feature class definitions. Implement basic mapping algorithms for standard geometric processing. Implement verification and validation tools. Geometric processing of vectors based on existing algorithms. (2D/3D polyline projections, orthogonal projections, point to polyline, thinness, ...)
