This is a remote position. Data Analyst Location: Remote Work (India) About Intelehealth: Intelehealth is an international technology non-profit committed to improving access to primary health care in underserved regions of the world through its innovative technology platform. About the position: We are looking for a Data Analyst to help improve the delivery of high quality primary care programs at last mile areas. In this role, your goal is to extract key insights from our health data and deliver them to our partners and internal teams to improve the impact and delivery of our programs. You will be the gatekeeper of our data and help shape how Intelehealth helps our partners and internal teams use data to drive better decisions. You would work closely with the programs and product teams to understand what insights need to be gathered from the data to drive programmatic decision making. You would also innovate and identify new opportunities that can be addressed through existing data sets. As a data analyst at Intelehealth, a typical day might include: Identifying problem statements that can be solved through data analysis and visualizations Working with our partners and our internal programs and product teams to understand these problem statements Extracting data from relevant sources Performing data cleaning, developing automated scripts for cleaning and validation Assessing data quality and identifying ways to improve it Providing inputs to the product team to improve data collection and validation at the point of capture Moving data between source and target systems Developing libraries that can be used across projects Showcasing insights as data visualizations that can drive decision making Building data repositories Maintaining integrity of datasets Brainstorm ideas and create prototypes of future tools and products Requirements You have: 2-3 years of work experience. A Bachelor s in Computer Science/ IT/Data Science or similar Self-taught data programmers are welcome! High degree of proficiency in SQL Experienced programmer in R or Python Knowledge of data visualizations tools - PowerBI, Tableau or Apache Superset Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases Familiarity with Unix operating systems, cloud computing and AWS Knowledge of noSQL databases, particularly Mongodb Prior experience human centered design and working with OpenMRS Volunteer experience working in rural communities This job might be good for you if: You are a passionate self-learner & love taking on new challenges You love solving problems & digging for creative solutions if you don t the answer to a problem You don t get flustered easily.
