Job Summary
What you'll do
- Design the visuals for Instamojo's Web and Mobile products & give the products a refreshing & modern look while adhering to best practices in design.
- Create pixel-perfect designs & navigable prototypes before they go for development.
- Research and prototype iterations.
- Work closely with front-end developers to help them bring your designs alive.
- Design, own and advance the visual language of all product offerings of Instamojo.
- Be an uncompromising and well-reasoned advocate of delivering a uniform, consistent, clean and professional Instamojo experience.
Who we're looking for
- You should have great design taste and attention to detail.
- Understands the Design Dev Communication
- An uncompromising attitude in carrying through designs from hi-fi Sketch files to live production.
- Understanding of how web and Mobile platforms work and how to design native apps.
- Analytical design thinking and healthy reasoning skills to back your design decisions.
- A good understanding of the product life-cycle and understanding design trade-offs at each step in the life-cycle.
- Familiarity with Sketch (major plus) and/or Photoshop and any modern prototyping suite (whichever you prefer).
- A thorough knowledge of colour palettes, UI elements, screen resolutions, device sizes and pixel-ratios, typography and common design patterns.
