Job Description This is a remote position. We are looking for a talented and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in Talend ETL to join our team. As a key member of our ETL development projects, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data integration concepts and have hands-on experience with Talend ETL tools. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather and document business requirements for data integration and transformation projects using Talend ETL. Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, data sources, and data mappings to ensure accurate and efficient ETL workflows. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data mapping documents for use by the development team. Work closely with the development team to provide guidance and clarification on requirements, ensuring that the ETL solutions align with business objectives. Participate in design reviews and provide input on data model design, data transformations, and data quality checks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, use cases, test scenarios, and data mapping documents. Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to validate and verify the successful implementation of business requirements in the ETL processes. Identify and document data integration issues, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders to resolve them. Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data during the ETL process. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 6+ experience as a Business Analyst in Talend ETL projects with a focus on data integration and transformation. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with SQL and database technologies, such as Oracle Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
