Cloud Operations Engineer Job in Innovapptive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic CloudOps Engineer who is passionate about doing whatever it takes to ensure our cloud servers and services are always available, performant and secure. As part of the Engineering team, you will be engaged in and improve the life cycle of the cloud services - starting from design to deployment, maintenance to refinement by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. You will play an important role in scaling systems through automation and with innovative ideas/tools.

Essential Functions:

• Manage mission critical workloads in AWS & GCP cloud Infrastructure with high availability and optimize costs with high utilization.
• Monitor performance of instances usage with alerting tools and minimize over provisioning of resources.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture and DevOps teams in automating deployments & upgrades with minimal downtimes.

Requirements:

• AWS Certification (Sol. Arch/SysOps/DevOps) with hands-on experience in private and public cloud environments. Network and Security certification is a plus
• Hands on experience with S3, Redis, Python/Lambda scripting and working with AWS Cost Explorer, SavingsPlan, Cross Regions is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking.
• Experience with System and Application Monitoring (APM) tools like FireBase, Newrelic, Splunk, App Dynamics, DataDog, DynaTrace etc.
• Knowledge of Backup & Recovery setups along with different storage solutions.
• Implementation of tools in detecting early symptoms of failure and faster RCA is preferred.
• Passionate to palm ownership and responsibility of systems uptime and security - 24X7
• Knowledge of best practices related to network administration and cybersecurity.
• Deep systems knowledge and experience in SAP is a plus
