Position Summary

We are looking for an expert Service Delivery General Manager to lead a group of hardworking Information Security professionals. This position will manage all associates who are part of our shared Information Security center in India. The day-to-day work direction is given by functional managers. The purpose of this position is to provide local guidance, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates. Most importantly, the role is responsible for generating positive employee engagement, improve retention, and hiring quality talent. The ideal candidate has outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting develop relationships with universities, agencies, etc. to recruit top talent for information security. Works directly with the HR recruiting team to screen and identify top talent to pass on to functional managers.
  • Training & Development develop and manage an internal training program for associates.
  • Performance Management work with functional leaders to provide feedback to associates and perform annual performance reviews. When necessary, provide coaching and mentoring to associates who are not meeting expectations (performance management).
  • Communication ensure associates receive timely communications on information security strategy, goals, and objectives. Facilitate an environment where offshore resources feel a part of the overall Ingram Micro Information Security team.
  • Project Management ability to perform resource management activities for projects and manage a team of consultants dedicated to project work.
  • Work Load Management ability to develop, track, and manage a set of key performance indicators for each associate.
  • Associate Engagement develop and execute a program to improve associate engagement & reduce attrition. Develop and execute an associate recognition & awards program.
  • Workplace Culture develop a workplace culture of flexibility and be an evangelist of the information security vision and strategy.
  • Collaboration & Service Delivery develop relationships with the functional managers (your customer) and ensure they are receiving quality delivery of services.
  • Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
  • Develops personal growth opportunities.
  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.
  • Defines objectives, identifies and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

Skills & Experience

Preferred 6+ years as a leader with direct reports and full HR responsibility.

Preferred 3+ years of information security experience.

Required Certification: PMP

Preferred Certifications: CISM, CISSP, or the equivalent.

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited University

Work Experience: 10+ years; 6+ directly related to role

Provide three current work references & pass a criminal background check

Pass a proficiency exam related to the role
