Job Summary
- Bachelors/Master Degree (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/MS)
- 4 - 6 years of solid experience in SQL Server 2005/2008 Database administration and maintenance.
- Experience in SQL Server Installation / Upgrade.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking/deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, data replication issues etc.
- knowledge in SQL Server 2005/2008 Clustering environments
- Experience with database maintenance activities such as backup/recovery & capacity monitoring/management.
- Experience in managing and making software deployments/changes in real time production environments.
- Knowledge on tools like SQL Lite speed, SQL Diagnostic Manager
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and SQL server Architecture
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proactive, independent and proven ability to work under tight target and pressure
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as a financial services institutions
- Excellent communication skills and willing to communicate with US Manager on daily basis
