Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. As a QA Engineer, you will develop and execute manual test cases, document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Develop and execute manual test cases for both web and mobile applications.
- Defect Documentation: Document test results and defects in a clear, concise manner, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and maintain product quality.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing efforts and project timelines.
- Test Planning: Participate in design reviews, requirement gathering, and the creation of comprehensive test plans.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.
- Process Improvement: Provide valuable feedback to improve the testing process and contribute to continuous product quality improvements.
Requirements:
- Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Asana, and API testing tools like Postman.
- Test Case Writing: Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
- Automated Testing: Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
