Position Details Test Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• We are looking for a passionate, self-driven experienced professional to be part of our QA team who will understand the application functionality, creates test cases, tests the product, and reports the defects
• Has ability to understand, analyze, evaluate, and act upon dynamic product and business requirements forming basis for Agile development approaches
• Has ability to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on the requirements
• Ensures bugs reported in defect management tool are complete, clear, concise, and comprehensive for other team members to replicate with all the necessary supporting information
• Prepares comprehensive defect documentation and test execution reports
• Works with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC

Desired Skills:

• Has hands on working experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing, re-testing, smoke testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing
• Has sound knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle
• Experienced with Agile development methodology (SCRUM)
• Designs & develops test cases based on available requirement specifications and executes tests cases
• Has hands-on experience in defect management tool JIRA
• Reports bugs to the development teams
• Tracks QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Performs thorough regression testing post bug fixing
• Has good knowledge of SQL database
• Possesses excellent analytical and communication skills - verbal and written
• Experienced with API testing using POSTMAN (Good to have)
• Experienced with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Maven, GIT, Jenkins (Good to have)

BCA, MCA, BSc, MSc, BTech, MTech etc

Experience in years:

1-3 years in Manual/Automation Testing (Selenium)
