Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade accounts.
- Negotiate and secure annual contracts, promotional plans, and shelf space agreements.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and effective promotional execution.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the modern trade sector.
- Develop and implement plans to increase market share and penetration.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and mentor a team of key account executives and managers.
- Coordinate with regional sales teams to ensure consistent execution of national strategies.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for modern trade accounts.
- Monitor and control trade spending to ensure optimal ROI.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and feedback.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Implement customer-centric initiatives to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in key account management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on modern trade.
