Position: Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering)

Overview: We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer specializing in Rotating Equipment to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment), you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of rotating machinery within our organization. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation and reliability of our rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your experience and knowledge of rotating equipment, such as compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers, etc., to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.
  • Apply your understanding of rotating equipment Codes and Standards, particularly API standards, to ensure compliance and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Take responsibility for the preparation of Mechanical Data sheets, Specifications, and sketch drawings for rotating equipment.
  • Verify documents and drawings, participate in interface studies with other disciplines, and contribute to vendor meetings to facilitate effective project coordination.
  • Utilize your hands-on experience with CAD Tools such as Ansys and AutoCAD to support the design and analysis of rotating equipment.
  • Prepare Material Requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations for procuring rotating equipment.
  • Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech.).
  • 3 to 8 years of industry experience in the Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants sector.
  • Expertise and knowledge in a variety of rotating equipment, including compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers, etc.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment Codes and Standards, particularly API standards.
  • Proficiency in the preparation of Mechanical Data sheets, Specifications, and sketch drawings.
  • Ability to verify documents and drawings, participate in interface studies, and engage in vendor meetings.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD Tools such as Ansys and AutoCAD.
  • Strong skills in Material Requisitions preparation and technical bid evaluation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to review vendor documents effectively.
