Sr. Network Engineer (l3 Support And Build) Job in Triadss

• Proven hands-on IT Network experience in Switching and Routing domain
• Experience and expertise in implementation and support (L2 and L3) for DC LAN, Campus LAN, Wireless LAN and WAN
• Technologies Nexus 5K, 7K, 9K, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco ISR routers, Cisco ASR Routers, Wireless LAN Controllers, preferably Cisco 2504, 5508, 5520 and Access Points, preferably Aironet 1142, 1602I, 3502I, 3702I/E, HP Aruba Switches and Wireless Access Points
• L3 level Network Security Expertise on Checkpoint Firewalls, F5 load balancers (LTM, APM) Bluecat DNS / DHCP, AlgoSec, Zscaler / Bluecoat internet proxy
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (such as IPSec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Diploma or university degree in Engineering or Science
• CCNP / CCIE Certification

Responsibilities:
Run (operations)

• Proactive monitoring of the Network devices (alerts and alarms) and necessary response
• Troubleshooting for network incidents and resolution
• RCA Root Cause Analysis for major incidents
• Ownership of Incidents, Problems and Changes till closure
• Change Management - Preparation and submission of CR requests, securing change window and implementation of changes
• Proactive network maintenance
• Configuration Management - CMDB Updates related to network assets
• Vendor Management - Liaise with network vendors such as Cabling vendors, Field Services/Smart Hands/Hands and Feet vendors, Telecom Service Providers, Internet Service Providers and other IT personnel for troubleshooting and resolution

Build:

• Implementation of network projects such as device refresh and upgrades
• Installation, configuration, testing, UAT and commissioning of various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches and QoS)
• Software version upgrades including service packs, patches and hot fixes
• Preparation of MOPs including roll-back plan
