Job Summary

Description of DutiesReporting to the VP Global Resource Management, this individual will manage recruiting and resource management for the specified business line area of the Consulting Practice. This entails assigning consultants in order to meet commitment to deliver quality service to our clients while also maintaining the companys goal of maximum utilization of resources via a global deployment model. This position ensures the effective management of the supply and demand of resources, both internal and external, to support the success of IT objectives; position utilizes a coordinated approach to analyzing resource demand, and map it to a supply of people, competencies and skills in a fluid, global sourcing model.Partner with assigned delivery leader identifying, and developing strategy allowing for the delivery of resources to meet and exceed business needsCreate and manage workforce plan based on existing resources, client projects, sales forecasts and resource end dates assuring the ability to meet anticipated and just in time resource managementMaximize and develop talent resources identifying required training, appropriate projects and appropriate talent base to assure our ability to meet immediate and anticipated client needsConsult with business lines as SME understanding and educating client regarding bill rates, project structure, resource management, and pricing models through a blended project plan while maximizing gross margins.Serves as SME on requests for proposals (redundant??)Partner with sales ad business lines to ensure an accurate forecast of skills and competency needs to meet client needs (redundant???)Provides Global leadership with analysis and reporting tools including, but not limited to utilization, availability, rotations, redeployments, billable net headcount and open positions for the business lines.Monitors, identifies and implements best practicesManage, develop and motivate resource management team

Minimum Requirements

Candidate should have 5-10 years experience in Resource Management/ Recruiting/Deployment role with a mid sized IT (do we want mid-size?.will experience with Business Process/Professional Services Organization be helpful?)or Consulting Organization.Bachelors Degree required. 3 5 years of managerial experience desired. Candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal traits including confidence, responsiveness and flexibility; must possess a keen business acumen, conflict resolution skills, and diplomacy.Must be able to work independently, as well as within a highly matrixed organization. Must maintain ability to calmly manage multiple and conflicting priorities with an eye toward the needs of the business.Must provide guidance and development to those reporting to him/her. Previous experience analyzing workforce trends and key drivers.
