Experience : 10 - 15 yrs

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Implement fully automated on demand infrastructure provisioning environment
  • Design and enable automated change, release and upgrade management practices across existing solutions and systems.
  • Develop/Implement tools to identify production infrastructure risks, monitor the infrastructure and improve availability, scalability and performance of the environment.
  • Respond to prod and non-prod incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive change management to prevent recurrence.
  • Handle all escalations related to infrastructure
  • Come up with innovative ideas to optimize the infrastructure costs
  • Collaborate with development teams, IT and security teams to implement the infrastructure required to support our application.
  • Actively engage with internal teams to develop tooling, framework to drive full observability and automation of the environment.
  • Managing and mentoring the DevOps team, guiding them with all their work
  • Managing and prioritizing the backlog

What candidate should know about:

  • Expertise in implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience in managing hundreds of production servers on Cloud, expertise in troubleshooting real time issues.
  • Working knowledge on AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, CoundFront and monitoring services like New Relic, ELK, datadog.
  • Experience in DevOps automation tools
  • Working knowledge of scripting using Shell, Python
  • Experienced in Build from the ground up a DevOps tools-chain (Jira, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes etc.)
  • Web Server/Application Server/DB deployments and administration.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Experience in working with deployment of MERN stack
  • Hands-on experience in AWS services and AWS DevOps tools
  • Certified AWS Solution Architect Associate / Professional preferred / Certified DevOps Engineer
