Job description Production Manager

Meet AOP targets to achieve ISC goals.
Organize work flow to meet specification & deadlines.
Supervise & evaluated performance of Production personnel ( Line Technicians, Operators)
Achieving the production targets by optimizing planning resources (Raw material & manpower ,Machines setup) & co-ordination with supply chain management.
Ensure output meets quality standard.
Enforce Health and safety practices & precautions.
MIS preparation & reporting.
Ensure the to meet the production targets & machine uptimes for the automated lines.
Adherence to current good manufacturing practices, Systems like HOS, Kaizens,5S,RCA,ISO 9001,BIS,NIOSH,HSE/EHS.
Monitoring the Man, Material, Machine & Process efficiencies and work on improvement & utilization.
Drive process & yield improvements.
Work closely with the available process information from Design/AME or trial batches and set benchmarks for consistence.
Conduct Time study & work measurement for process improvements.
Monitoring and control of specific production operations, product handling, packaging, product Identification and co-ordination for dispatch activities with QA / SCM.
Monitoring and maintenance of raw material / product inventory in co-ordination with SCM.
Preparation of Std. Operation Sheets instruction(SOS) and Participates in equipment and process qualification and troubleshooting. Preparation of documentation, Process qualification, Skill matrix preparation
Imparting training to the below hierarchy level on SOPs, VOSs, OPLs, and process related aspects to maintain quality and consistency in production.
Maintenance of production equipment in coordination with engineering and maintenance Department. Maintenance of spares in coordination with engineering and maintenance Department.
Plant and machinery modifications or improvements.
Track & Improve OEE , OPH.(O/p per hr) Improvement in MTTR & MTBF.
Reporting of non-conformities and adherence to the corrective actions for in process rejection, deviations, customer complaints and product recalls.
Authorized to raise and review the change control and deviation reports.
Authorized to prepare, issue and review quality documents.
Maintenance of production related documents and quality records.
Traceability from finished product to raw materials.
Adherence to safety, health and environment norms and pollution control.
To follow the established procedures and policies of the company pertaining to EHS /HSE management system.
To understand the implications of not following the defined procedures with respect to HSE
Propagating HSE Management System awareness to all the personnel in the department.
Guiding all departmental personnel in the preparation of departmental activity, hazard and risk assessment register, aspect / impact register and reviewing the adequacy.
Reviewing the progress / status of HSE objectives & targets periodically; reporting the progress & implementation effectiveness of the management programs to the HSE leaders.
Adherence to Quality Policy and Quality Management System.


Key Requirements :
Hands on experience on Mask Manufacturing automated lines - N95,N901,other suitable,
Knowledge of NIOSH & BIS standards & its requirement,
Hands on Experience of Automated Mask mfg. machines & progressive SPMs
Hands on experience on High Speed-High Volume production process & environment.
Knowledge of In-process, final testing for Mask products is preferred.
Experience in reporting of Key production metrics & MIS,
Proficient to MS office & SAP softwares.
Outstanding communication ability.
Knowledge of TPM ,Six sigma & good manufacturing practices in industries.
Strong decision-making skills & results-driven approach
Diploma/BE Mechanical
Experience-5-6 years In Mask Manufacturing & 9- 10 years total.
