Hiring CA (0-1 yr Exp) - Associate (Finance and Accounts) for a PE Firm
Job Summary:
Our client is a leading PE firm, looking to hire Qualified Chartered Accountants with (0-1 yr) exp post qualification for the role of Associate (Finance and Accounts) for its Bangalore office. Immediate joiners preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities of the selected candidate:
Assist in the overall accounting of Funds and the investment manager. The candidate should be conversant with the Accounting Standards, IFRS and USGAAP.
Prepare payment vouchers with appropriate tax withholding for the Fund and the manager and booking of receipt vouchers with appropriate GST and/or other levies.
Preparation of monthly accounts of the manager.
Assist in the preparation of monthly cashflow budget Vs actual comparison.
Ensure timely payment of tax (direct and indirect), timely filing of tax returns (quarterly andannual) of all Funds and the investment manager.
Ensure bi-monthly reimbursement of expenses and quarterly collection of management feesfrom Funds to the investment manager.
Coordinate with administrators of Funds (Offshore and Onshore) regularly for Fund relatedactivities.
Prepare/Review Capital call workings and distribution workings and investor communicationdocuments for capital call and distribution.
Prepare/review unit capital statements, tax estimates and capital account summaries ofFunds investors on a quarterly basis.
Prepare/review annual capital account statements and provide information for K-1s annually
Work with the members of the investment team and the marketing team forquarterly/periodic investor reports for all Funds.
Work with different teams to provide assistance with data compilation for fund raising.
Maintain investment register of all Funds.
Assist in quarterly valuations of portfolio companies and assist in collation valuation back-ups for audit.
Assist in the timely completion of audit of all Funds and the investment manager.
Assist in the compilation of information pertaining to Fund and Investment IRRs.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual report for few specific investors aboutportfolio companies and their compliances.
Assist in various regulatory compliances SEBI quarterly reports, review of RBI monthlyreport, Taxation and Corporate compliances
Key Requirements:
- Qualified CA with 0-1 years of experience post qualification.
- Good work experience during articleship, preferably in a Big 4 or a leading consultancy firm.
- Experience with PE firms is a big plus.
- Possess good communication skills.
- The candidate should be a team player, self-starter with hunger to grow.
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri
Compensation: Good compensation will be awarded based on candidate calibre and experience. Rest be assured, the compensation is at par with leading PE Firms.
