Officer - Ehs Job in Hatsun Agro Product Ltd

Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employeesafetyat work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company is in complience and adheres to Occupational Health andSafety(OHS) guidelines.

Principal Accountabilities

• Plan and implement OHS policies and program`ms
• Conduct risk assessment
• Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
• Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
• Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' Safety
• Follow in the establishment of workplace safety and health committees
• Maintaining the ETP & STP effectively to achieve the effluent parameters to comply PCBs rules & regulations

Key Interactions

• Internal : Production, Engineering, Store, Logistics, QA/QC & HR
• External : Supplier, Certificates bodies, auditors , Vendors

Knowledge & Skills

Essential Knowledge :

• Acceptable technical training in the field of occupational safety and health.
• Working knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation.

• Communication skills

Education & Experience

Education :

• Educational Qualification : M.E (Industrial Safety)

Experience :

• Relevant Experience : 2 to 3 Years
