Job Title: Accounting Analyst (Developmental Role)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, gain an understanding of the company s business systems, business processes, and controls, including policies and procedures relevant to the assigned location and department.
  • Prepare accounting reports and increasingly complex accounting analyses, utilizing related spreadsheets or applications.
  • Identify and resolve accounting issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Understand the company s organizational structure and how it relates to accounting operations.
  • Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions.
  • Research and resolve basic accounting issues, ensuring proper documentation and control.
  • Participate in financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Develop proficiency in industry standards, financial applications, and company-specific accounting principles.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of nine (9) months of experience in accounting-related roles.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles is required.
  • Skills: This role is developmental, intended to build knowledge in general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. A focus on gaining intermediate proficiency in industry practices and company operations is key.
