Key Responsibilities 1. Throughput Contribution
2. Capital Efficiency
3. Cost Analysis Job Description 1. Prepare preliminary design using international codes like ASME, TEMA, PD5500 etc.
2. Estimate cost for the project based on the preliminary design
3. Optimize the design and raw material quantity and ensure lowest possible cost of major raw materials
4. Ensure timeliness of offers against firm enquiries with potential of orders
5. Coordinate with various departments for new products and arrive at the best price
6. Float enquiries for materials and expedite for the best possible material rates
7. Keep track of trends of materials and duty structure


Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production) Preferred Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production) Experience Details Essential Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience for Diploma and 2 years of experience for Degree candidates in Estimation / Costing function Preferred Experience: Relevant experience in Process Equipment Industry (manufacturing Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns and Reactors) using international codes like ASME, TEMA etc. Special Skill 1. Knowledge of AUTOCAD and PV Elite Software
2. Knowledge of International Codes and Procedures ASME,TEMA, ISO systems and procedures
3. Knowledge of sequence of Manufacturing processes
4. Operating knowledge of ERP
