Job Summary The Sr. Executive - Sales Finance is responsible for providing financial analysis, planning, and support to the Sales team within Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) India business. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to manage sales budgets, analyze channel profitability, and ensure efficient credit management. Key Responsibilities Sales Budgeting and Planning Assist in formulating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for trade spends, sales overheads, and outstanding receivables. Collaborate with sales teams across clusters to gather and analyze data for budget development. Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment of sales budget with business objectives. Sales Performance Analysis Prepare and analyze Channel P&Ls, Value Added Network (VAN) P&Ls, and Sell-As-a-Managed Team (SAMT) P&Ls. Monitor and analyze sales expenditures against budget forecasts. Prepare data for ad-hoc requests and support financial analysis for sales performance evaluation. Financial Reporting and Automation Track and manage bookings of expenses in VAN sales and SAMT sales. Participate in automation projects with the IT team to improve financial reporting processes. Provide data and support for month-end provisioning. Credit Management Collaborate with the Global Enterprise Credit (GEC) team to manage customer credit limits and collections. Resolve queries from Internal Market Distributors (IMT) regarding credit and claims. Process MT Damage approvals and create vendor codes in the system. Business Partnering Partner with On-Trade (OT) Chains to provide data-driven insights and support their financial needs. Act as a bridge between the Sales team, Business team, and the GEC team. Collaborate with customers and the GEC team to resolve critical financial issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in sales finance or a related field, preferably within the FMCG industry. Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Qualification :
