1.Business Participation and Support: a.Leading structuring, organizing and active participation in SBP/ ABP planning process, providing strategic, financial and commercial support; being an effective member of the Divisional Management team in the achievement of the business plans and promoting Business Excellence b.Participating in decision-making process effectively by providing expertise in the fields of Finance, Accounting and General Management c.Providing timely, relevant and accurate Financial / Operations Analysis including Performance Planning & Reporting (MIS), analysis of Fixed and Working Capital to control and also facilitate Strategic Business Decisions d.Driving shareholder value creation by focusing on major Projects, Sales Quotations / Contracts, Pricing, Purchase Contracts, Cost Estimations, Commercial Laws, Legal aspects of Project Contracts, New Business Initiatives, Industry Analysis and Competitors business analysis e.Playing an active role in evaluation & decision-making process of existing and new business opportunities (capital expenditure / acquisitions / divestments) 2.Financial, Cost and Management Accounting, Statutory Compliances, Risk Management and Control: a.Managing the Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting functions of the division b.Providing robust financial Accounting structure, processes and operations c.Providing effective overall internal financial controls across all business operations and departments of the Division. d.Ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and statutory Accounting Standards e.Compliance with statutory audit, cost audit, internal audit and tax audit regulations f.Providing robust Infor and other satellite IT systems in the Division with help of Godrej Infotech g.Providing support to the Division and Corporate Finance for Finance related implementation of and productivity enhancements in INFOR while coordinating with business and support functions to ensure that it meets with their requirements h.Providing timely monthly feedback to Corporate Finance Department of all relevant information for meeting Statutory / Management reporting deadlines. i.Developing and actively promoting the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, IndAS / XBRL / Revised regulations under the New Companies Act. j.Analyzing and monitoring potential risks associated with non-compliance with statutory regulations, laws, and company policies k.Ensuring Compliance with Legislations relating to Direct / indirect / commercial taxes, EXIM regulations, Commercial Laws like Companies Act & guiding business teams in Company s Policies & Procedures. l.Ensuring data security of all divisional accounting records. 3.Infusing excellent team spirit within finance & across the business: a.Raising the level of financial acumen across the finance function and development of subordinates. b.Recruiting right candidates as per the Finance Organization Structure and enhancing competencies of the finance team in the business unit c.Enhancing financial accounting & analysis by providing on the job training on existing and new assignmentsQualification Details
Essential Qualification :
Chartered Accountant and / or Cost AccountantPreferred Qualification :
Master s in Business Administration (MBA) with Specialization in Finance or equivalent, Company Secretary (CS), Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB)Experience Details
Essential Experience :
10-15 years of experience in handling the finance operations in manufacturing industry, of which the current role is of Business CFO or Head of FinancePreferred Experience :
Experience in projects environment in predominantly manufacturing or engineering industrySpecial Skills
