Visual Designer Job in Globallogic

The Visual Designer plays an integral role in the creative development, visualisation and execution of graphic
user interfaces for enterprise applications product brands, and consumer reception of the product. His roles
encompass; creating a positive creative team- work environment, collaborating and partnering up with user
experience designers, product team, application development team, as well as interacting and forming
relationships with other concerned stakeholders. In the role as a visual designer, day-to-day tasks will consist of
creating visually engaging, innovative and functional mobile and web product solutions in the alignment of the
design system. Ability to bring vision and concepts to life will not only be welcomed but celebrated. Able to
standardize the visual elements to work on common design language in the form of a design system.
One of the key aspects of this role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design
and our customers and serving our brand s purpose, business missions and customer needs. Ultimately,
expectation is to design aesthetically-pleasing products that capture our brand and engage our audiences.

Job description:

Strong visualisation and conceptualization skill required.

A good hands-on experience of designing, maintaining and implementing design systems with precision from start to finish including the execution of design in the development phase.

Excellent control and command on visual design aesthetics and principles. Focus on practicing this knowledge to multi-channel digital experiences.

Eye for detail and a passion for delivering quality with speed and productivity, should be able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into understandable and systematic solutions.

Strong ability in ideation skills and competency in storytelling to interpret the ideas to clients and other stakeholders.

Should have a good understanding of responsive, fluid, adaptive design approaches.

Proficiency in visual tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Zeplin and/or prototyping tools like Principle, Invision and Axure etc.

Experience visualizing interactions using high fidelity prototypes (Axure, Principle, Origami, XD, Figma etc.)

Capable to function independently and collaboratively as per the need of a team environment.

Should be a self-starter, proactive, self-motivated, able to handle work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.

Education and Qualification:

Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Visual Designer. With substantial experience in enterprise and mobile applications.

Degree in Design/Fine Arts or equivalent portfolio.

Knowledge of Product Design, Visual Communication and Usability Principles is required.

Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal both) and presentation skills.

An excellent online portfolio exhibiting all of the above.
