Job Summary

Job Description:

Sales engineer is a very important role in the organization which needs an astute salesman who is technically competent to understand customer s requirements, provide them with proper solution and convince them to buy our products/solutions to meet their business needs. He is required to be the trusted business adviser for various internal and external customers. He needs to have a good business acumen, presentation skills, building customer relationships, developing an engagement strategy, and having a thorough understanding of the targeted industry.

Sales Engineer will be responsible for opportunity generation, technical evaluation, proposal generation and to meet the sales target. Ensuring Customer satisfaction and payment collection will be one of his key goals. He will be responsible for sales forecasting and other sales support functions.

This position reports directly to Business Leader.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Company s core products and utilize this knowledge tosuccessfully lead sales pursuits.
  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences,seminars, etc.
  • Make list of customer and their contact person and visit/follow up regularly Identify enquiries for Process Automation/Combustion control /Sensing and control equipmentsand propose suitable product/solutions as per requirement.
  • Generate and continuously increase customer base.Involve higher management as and when opportunity arises
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFQs/RFIs
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity always and that behavior aligns with company values.
  • Work effectively with company leadership team to develop effective sales strategies that promotesales to new and existing customers.
  • Complete sales and operations forecasts, sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner.
    Maintaining Sales Register
    Submit Daily Reports
  • Ensure highest Customer satisfaction
  • Ensure 100% payment is collected on time as per milestone delivery
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education:

B.E Instrumentation / Electronics

Experience:

3-5 years Industrial Automation sales experience
Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus
Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies and lead qualification
Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment
Ability to travel as required to meet customers (75%)

Location:

This is a Bengaluru based position.
