Job Responsibilities
80% of time
Solution Manager role consists of Supporting all the technology solutions in the Finance function.
The role will be accountable globally for the Operational Health of financial solutions.
This role will be accountable for overall Functional Client Management including owning the Finance Project Portfolio for the segment, LRP & Roadmap of Capabilities; They are accountable for understanding the needs of FI operations and developing integrated capabilities in response to those needs.
Active Participation in Spring plan and Prioritized project list/portfolio for assigned area in Go Demand
In this capacity of Solution Manager, you will be accountable for Ensuring clear goals and outcomes of the project (including accountability for Discovery Gates 1&2), Removing barriers to ensure Project execution, Ensuring standardization and Integration of Solutions
Accountable for project kick off and sponsor/steering team meetings
Lead the initiatives in your Area of responsivity
Understand and leverage all FI GBS capabilities
Partner with the Stakeholder to design new work processes and Implementing them
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide timely updates
20% of time
Regular connect with global leaders to get acquaintance of Business needs.
Consulting Business team on technology front.
Process/ Technology Knowledge sharing with team
Lead/Participate/Represent Team on Global events Globally or at site
Connect with other business functions Managers to understand Resource requirement for FICO team.
Skills/Competencies
Required Technical Skills:
SAP Finance & controlling modules
Microsoft office suites like excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
Business knowledge of other technologies/third party software to make work with SAP
Good To Have Technical Skills
SAP other modules like Supply chain, demand chain, ABAP, Logistics
Business Objects & reporting tools like Tableau
