Job Summary
- Creating test strategies for projects, regardless of their size or complexity. This includes test needs, dependencies, tools, environment, risks, mitigation plans, and approaches.
- Multiple types of testing and techniques: functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing, etc.
- Identifying, advocating, implementing, and enforcing the definition of best practices or process improvements.
- Leading a team: Plan, delegate and audit work of fellow QA team members
- Planning test efforts for projects: Evaluate project, develop test strategy & test plans
- Agile Development - iterative development, scrum framework, kanban framework
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability.
- Respond to all requests from team members in a timely professional manner.
- Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents
- Work in parallel on more than one QA project at a time
