Regional Sales Manager Job in Fortive
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities within established and new accounts in a geographically dispersed territory.
- Increase ASP s product footprint in assigned territory in a manner consistent with company goals
- Establish relationships with new and targeted existing customers and identify solutions to meet customer needs through consultative selling process
- Advocacy across internal stakeholders to share strong messaging amongst peers towards adopting ASP technology
- Provide customers with the appropriate solutions, marketing collateral, and clinical information to obtain customer commitment to purchase ASP products
- Develop new potential customers, manage capital sales funnel primarily via Capitalequipmentplacementswhile developing customer champions for ASP technologies.
- Effectively communicateandcollaboratewith other sales manager,field service engineers, marketing, training and education
- Manage & guide a team of sales people to achieve business plan achievement, manage customer needs and grow the business in the territory.
- Augment distribution channel, oversee dealer stock inventory, AR collection and ensure the territory is adequately covered across various product segments for customer service & business scale
- Provide product demonstration,trainingpresentations and in-servicing based upon Customer s needs.
- LeverageSalesforce.comtoprovide timely and current information on customers withinyourterritory;routinely update sales actions plans and forecasts for Territory Quarterly Reviews and Business Plans to facilitate the purchase of ASP productsand services.
- Establish and maintain optimum account call frequencies which lead to better relationships with the customer, better understanding of the customer s business and needs, and the accomplishment of the sales quota.
- Analyze territorycapital,consumable, and servicesales potentialtodevelop sales execution plans that maximizes sales at or in excess of the company plan.
- Continually acquire, maintain,and expand personal understanding of features, benefits, applications and market conditions, which enhance the needs for our current and future products.
- Participate in local Chapters or other relevant organizations including regional level buying groups.
Here s what we ll need from you:
- MBA Degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience with at least 3 years in medical devices, surgical sales, preferably capital equipment, or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in people management is preferred
- The ability to travel based on the requirements of the role, upto 60%.
- Experience prospecting for new business andcold-calling.
