Duties and responsibilities:-
Define, develop, execute and maintain a repository of automated test cases and scripts.
Build the necessary automated framework to address the testing needs including innovative hybrid /
robust testing framework.
Focus not only on functionality but on performance, data security and data validation.
Report test status, defects and other quality-related metrics to respective team.
Work closely with your peers across disciplines, influencing the entire engineering team to adopt best
practices both in engineering and in agile process.
Build and contribute to test infrastructure and tools at an early stage.
Requirements and Skill Sets
Must have working experience in developing UI automation hybrid /Data Driven framework using
selenium with Java.
Must have worked and setup API testing framework using Rest Assured / Karate powered by JAVA and
reporting tool like Extent reports or others on CI/CD environment.
Mobile app UI automation test framework using Appium / Android /IOS driver will be added advantages.
Proficient in writing testing scripts in test frameworks and do enhancements in framework.
Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies.
SQL query knowledge e.g. CRUD operations etc.
Should be able to work on manual testing as well whenever required.
Working knowledge of SCM (source code management tools), GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.
Should have manual testing experience too.
Should have working experience in creating test framework
