Job Description:
ServiceNow Architect plays a lead role in the delivery of ServiceNow Implementation projects and driving strategic transformational change of ITIL solution deployment. Responsible for the architecture and drive implementation/integration of the ServiceNow product and Integration with other systems. Responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise. Also responsible for ensuring that the solution delivered to business units are engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.

- Technical Architects can expect to manage and lead teams of ServiceNow Developers in a technical management and mentorship capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems
Desired Qualification / certifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
At least three ServiceNow certifications System Admin, Application Developer and ITSM preferred.
Preferred relevant work experience:
- Minimum 8 years knowledge and experience working with ServiceNow in Development & Technical Architecture capacity.
- Minimum of 8 years experience directly driving IT transformation & strategy planning. Preferably in a high-tech consulting environment.
- Minimum of 4 years leading teams of ServiceNow Developers as a technical manager and mentor.
- Minimum of 4 years experience implementing & enforcing standards, such as: code reviews & architectural reviews.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced scripting skills JavaScript, SQL
- Experienced with Agile methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban.
Skills and knowledge:
- Experience in effort estimates, defining the technical requirements & design (incl. scalability, performance, recoverability, security and confidentiality, maintainability, operability, and availability requirements) for an IT-Platform / IT-Portfolio.
- Ability to both configure and demonstrate solutions in the ServiceNow platform
- Experience designing and implementing facing solutions leveraging involving enterprise software
- Good understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- Experience in ServiceNow scripting using Javascript or Jelly including: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.
- Define technical solutions aligned with our client s business problems at an architectural and design level of detail
- Communicate complex technical solutions to clients
- Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Assist with scoping complex service engagements typically involving Orchestration, Discovery or Platform plays
- Build POV (Proof Of Value) solutions in demo instances for proposed solutions in context of a services engagement sale
- Will work with existing clients on developing technical solutions that may be delivered by ServiceNow Professional Services
- Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
