Job Summary
- Responsible for all legal compliances like GSTR1, GSTR3B, Reconciliation of GSTR 2A, Annual return filing, TDS Filing, Income Tax Filing.
- Responsible for managing all day to day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Partner Remittances and Payments, Capital Assets, Reconciliations and General Ledger and all entries like invoice creation, Bill entry, purchase order creation, all reimbursements and payments, etc.
- Assisting the Management in strengthening accounting guidelines and policies and streamlining the internal control environment.
- Establishing a close working relationship with Planning/ Operations Team, which includes providing variance explanations for actual vs. latest estimates and assistance as required during planning/ operating cycles.
- Managing the internal month-end, quarter-end & year-end financial statement close process which includes all control procedures and G/L account reconciliations.
- Leading the process to improve the month-end close creating efficiencies and reducing the timelines.
- Review partner contracts, ensuring accounting is in accordance with key terms and raising and resolving issues with other areas of the organization.
- Reviewing and approving the monthly Revenue and Cost of Sales entries and ensuring complete and accurate.
- Review the firm s balance sheet, reconciliations and major accounts which are inventory and stock, taxes, accruals, shipments, prepayments, and intercompany accounts.
- Reviewing changes in the balance sheet and income statement and conducting analysis of these changes on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for Internal Audit of all Payables, receivables and expenses by all departments.
- Key contact on External Year End Audit and Quarterly reviews.
- Provide monthly report and commentary of financial results with detailed analysis.
- Assess cash flow statements and forecasts.
- Forecast the company s working capital and cash flow statement.
- Analyze and report the variance between budget and actual result.
- Analyze and review overhead costs and approve all invoices and journals.
- Appraise and update the firm s accounting policies as per Indian Government standards and process internal controls.
- Assisting Management with any related financial material for external disclosure.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
- Secures organization s financial information by completing database backups and keeping information confidential.
- Perform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of six years experience as a corporate accounting manager, financial manager or similar role.
- Postgraduate degree in Accounting or MBA.
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or CA certified.
- Great communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze and present financial results.
- Good IT skills proficiency in MS Excel, Power-Point, Access, tally and any other accounting software.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized with a good understanding of financial and operational controls.
- Well-grounded knowledge and comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting according to international accounting standards (GAAP).
- Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and strive well in a fast-paced work environment.
