Job Summary


As a Lead recruiter @ Exotel, you will be assisting our HR team to build and expand our organisation. You will be collaborating with managers to understand requirements and establish effective recruitment strategies. You will source, screen, interview and evaluate candidates and establish a long term pipeline of technical and non-technical candidates.You will be responsible for creating a positive experience for the candidate and the hiring teams throughout the recruitment process. You will partner with marketing to develop and deliver a successful employer branding strategy.

What will you do?

  • Work with the leadership team, managers to align current and future hiring charter with the company goals.
  • Work with the hiring managers and create the right JDs, identify the right mix of hard and soft skills. Ensure the right mix of inbound and outbound hiring initiatives for the identified openings.
  • Identify the right budget for the hiring pipeline by working with the hiring managers, market compensation standards and other mechanisms, in order to hire the right talent at the desired price point.
  • Build and manage a healthy hiring pipeline
  • Monthly hiring reports
  • Identify and source appropriate talent for open roles within the organisation as well as identify future talent needs and proactively develop a talent pool
  • Manage to recruit initiatives to meet established goals including improving the candidate, new hire, hiring manager experience.
  • Leverage your network and technical recruiting knowledge to build a long-term talent attraction and employer branding strategy..
  • Lead recruitment projects and drives and execute talent building initiatives
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships with 3rd party recruiters and strategic recruiting technology vendors
  • Work with external vendors towards ensuring we have a healthy pool of candidates and that these candidate updates reach respective vendors.

What do we look for?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or another relevant field.
  • You have at least 7+ years of end to end recruitment experience
  • You have 4 years of experience negotiating compensation packages or related negotiation experience.
  • You have experience leading recruitment projects and drives
  • You have a strong ability to structure interview assessments methodologies (competencies, situational judgement)
  • Excellent analytical skills, reporting, data/metrics tracking and making data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency using Google Suite, Excel and/or Microsoft Office software.
