EY- Consulting - Technology Risk SAM-Staff

As part of our EY- ConsultingTechnology Risk team youll contribute technically to IT risk and SoftwareAsset management client engagements and internal projects. An important part ofyour role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal andexternal relationships. Youll also identify potential business opportunitiesfor Ernst & Young within existing engagements and escalate these asappropriate. Similarly, youll anticipate and identify risks within engagementsand share any issues with senior members of the team.

Your keyresponsibilities

• Interface withclients to identify technical requirements and compatible capabilities

• Stay abreast ofpredominant technologies dealing with software and hardware inventories, serveradministration and data integration

• Provide leadership toassociates, draft solutions for management review, and document results in workpapers

• Providing contractcompliance services to various member firms across the globe to assist them invarious software inspections. This includes:

• Analyse, summariesand perform research to understand how different software are licensed andcreating reports showing summary of Software purchases & deployment.

• Act as a point ofcontact to organize, maintain and file all engagement and administrationdocuments which can be produced as evidence as needed by stake holders andother statutory bodies.

• Demonstrate highlevel of professionalism by proactive communication, taking ownership of thework, being accountable for the quality of deliverables/report submitted andtake feedback constructively to provide better client services.

• Managing softwarelicenses and installations using several tools such as Flexera, SCCM, SNOW, andMAP, and creating baseline reports for various vendors, including Microsoft andAdobe

• Analysing inventorydata and creating baseline reports for management annually or on-demand basis

• Optimizing softwarelicense spend by eliminating redundancies and reducing wastage

• Rationalizingsoftware vendor selection and negotiating contracts for optimized IT spend

• Advising on auditreadiness and software renewals

• Restructuringrequest-for-software process to enhance accountability of cost centres forsoftware budget

Skills andattributes for success

• Experience inevaluation of sensitive access and SOD based on business risks/ industry bestpractice risks for multiple ERPs.

• Experience increation of SOD rulebooks based on the client business processes andapplications

• Experience in roleredesign based on the violations identified during the SOD tests.

• Application controlsand security experience

• Security modelling

• Process systems andintegrity, including risks and controls within business processes (manual,automated, security)

To qualify forthe role, you must have

• B.E/B.Tech (CS/ IT, Electronics, Electronics &Telecommunications,)/MBA/M.Sc. with at least 1-3 years of experience inSoftware asset management
