Job Summary

Manager -Property Tax

JobPurpose:

Theposition will be responsible for managing and coordinating Property Tax Renditions,Tax Bills, Notice of Values, Threshold issues, Asset Scrubbing, Managingcomplex property tax returns, Asset valuation methodology etc. As part of this role, you will be responsiblefor the day-to-day execution management of client engagements, monitor progressand deliverables, partake in the necessary standardized processes, anticipateand identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate and followperformance-improvement solutions.

Yourclient responsibilities:

  • Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
  • Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex returns
  • Delivering a full range of property tax services In compliance with state laws and regulations within time frame, Manage engagement economics
  • Coordinate staff and assess their performance, improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
  • Research technical issues and present finding effectively, Play a role of Junior state desk
  • Assist with indirect tax opportunities and work with and support teams
  • Assisting with business development initiatives, contributing to winning new opportunity
  • Dealing with technical enquiries as appropriate, consulting with senior manager when necessary
  • Provide exceptional client services to the clients

Technicalskills requirements:

  • Graduate/Post graduates,
  • At least 6 year 8 years of professional experience in Property Tax compliance and advisory services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and thorough knowledge on tax applications (PTMS, OPT)
  • Added advantage IPT School, Co-star knowledge

Other requirements:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels (internally & externally)
  • Excellent Client facing, relationship building and business development skills
  • Ability to interpret case laws and other reference material
  • Monitors and upholds high quality of services and products to the clients
  • Helping to advise clients on Property Tax issues
  • Ability to be proactive, identity opportunity and take early responsibility, Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.
