Job advert Reporting Delivery Lead

The People Data Reporting andAnalytics team enables EY to make informed, evidence-based, commercialdecisions to drive business value and deliver on EYs purpose to build a betterworking world. We are internal business advisors interacting with all levels oftalent supporting reporting at a global, area, region, and country level. It isour job to ensure talent has the insights to answer business questions andmeasure the success of talent initiatives.

Yourkey responsibilities

As a delivery lead, you will workwith the reporting product owner, who owns the reporting strategy, and be responsiblefor the delivery of enhancements on the Workforce Planning [WFP] CoE reporting portfolio.

You will have to develop& maintain a deep subject matter expertise on WFP (and its ecosystem at EY)quickly. On top of having a profound technical knowledge, you should haveoutstanding consultation and facilitation skills to enable the development ofreports according to a design thinking methodology.

Key responsibilities include:

Workingthe reporting product owner to document requirements

Co-designing(user stories and mockups) new reports and enhancements to existing ones withkey clients representatives

Managingthe delivery of reports and dashboards (i.e. technical release managementplanning).


Desired Experience:

Morethan 7 years of experience advanced knowledge as a data analyst and/or SQLServer /SSIS developer /ETL Developer

Morethan 3 years of working knowledge in Visualization tools like Power BI

Workingknowledge in MS Excel Macros, VB Illustrations will be added advantage

Bachelors/Mastersdegree in a related field

Experienceof handling multiple projects and people in the past

Bea mentor to team members in ETL and visualization

Skillsand attributes for success

Extensivetechnical experience in commercial reporting eco systems (current software inuse include Power BI, SSRS, SQL)

Goodworking knowledge of both HR & financial metrics used in a professionalservices environment

Operationalexperience of HR and/or finance processes, systems, and data flows

Beexperienced in managing agile product(s) releases in a fast paced environment.

Abilityto consult with stakeholders to understand strategy and gather requirements

Demonstrateability to create visualizations to tell a story

Strongrelationship and communication skills across multiple countries and cultures

Abilityto work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing stakeholders to meetrequirements and deadlines

Excellentteaming skills are required to work in a virtual environment with the abilityto work independently, across time zones

Coordinatedevelopment of ETL/data warehouse best practices needed to support new andevolving sources of data used in reporting, transaction processing andAnalytics

Performextensive and detailed data analysis necessary to ensure strict adherence todata quality

Takeon end-to-end ownership and perform different roles within analysis anddevelopment phases

Setand manage expectations with clients while providing proactive communicationand status updates; prioritize deliverables with client/requestor, andfollow/implement change control and release management processes

Adhereto general work requirements and perform other duties as assigned

DesiredSoft skills:

Presentationskills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitatediscussions with all levels of management

Interpersonalskills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships withco-workers, other business areas as required

Planningand organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multipleassignments

Strongverbal and written communication skills
