Job Summary
Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans for product development across product lines, addressing stages of the EPDP process. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, review project performance, and ensure overall project reporting. Team Management: Manage and guide project teams through the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Coordination: Work with stakeholders to set project goals, objectives, and priorities. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks. Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization. Process Adherence: Ensure adherence to EPDP guidelines and standard procedures. Reporting: Prepare and present project status updates to senior management. Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: Graduate in Engineering. Certifications: Certification in project management, resource management, or costing is preferred. Experience: 8-12 years of experience in managing new product development activities and multiple team projects. Knowledge: Knowledge of costing, budgeting, and project management skills. Task Analysis Project Planning: Establish comprehensive plans for new product development. Work with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, quality, budget, timelines, strategies, and priorities. Manage project planning meetings and identify critical activities/constraints. Set priorities and assist in product portfolio management. Identify and communicate project risks, develop risk plans, and manage risk response strategies. Prioritize projects and execute plans to deliver timely results with quantified benefits. Support optimization of development plans by evaluating assumptions and incorporating new inputs. Project Monitoring: Communicate technical, functional requirements, and deliverables to cross-functional teams. Execute the project and ensure goals and requirements are met. Interact with all functions and levels of management for effective communication. Drive for excellence in all areas and ensure optimal resource utilization. Assist Technology teams in day-to-day coordination and logistical support. Schedule and facilitate Gate Reviews and track action items to completion. Conduct periodic reviews to evaluate product management and prioritize opportunities. Project Performance Review: Assess project-level strategy relative to the overall Technology portfolio prioritization. Conduct financial analysis including capital costs and project costs. Review project deliverables for consistency, compliance, and completeness. Calculate project efficiency based on various parameters. Project Reporting: Develop, monitor, and update project plans. Prepare and present status updates to senior management. Verify data from multiple sources, collate information, track documents, and maintain records. Develop documentation for new product development projects.
