Interface Test Engineer Job in Einfochips

Roles

Interface Test & Validation Engineers with hands on experience in Test/Validation of RF / Wireless Products for WLAN/BT/BLE/Zigbee/Z-Wave/LoRaWAN functioning, stability and performance. Candidate will be participating in Product validation and Board level testing. S/he would be involved in conducting RF as well as Wireless Testing as per product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Test Scenarios, Test Cases and setup Test Bed for testing various connectivity & communication circuits including but not limited to Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN, Ultra-Wide Band and RFID as per product specifications and standards.
• Test execution, reporting and tracking of defects to closure in coordination with design and architecture teams.
• Analyze test Data, build a report, then draw conclusions and make decisions to generate datasheet.
• Impedance match tuning, board level bring up, debugs etc.
• Work closely with Hardware/Firmware Engineering on technology implementation, root cause identification of issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in testing Microcontroller/ Microprocessor based embedded systems and associated subsystems such as the power supply, I/O interfaces, displays and communication protocols
• Strong in fundamentals of digital communications, RF communication protocols, wireless protocols, transceivers and EMI tests
• Hands-on expertise in testing of wireless sub-system architectures and component technologies employed for WiFi, BT/BLE, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN including emerging technologies
• Clarity on RF concepts such as EIRP, G/T, TRP, TIS, noise figure, sensitivity, phase noise, EVM, spectral mask, spurious, harmonics, intermodulation, s-parameters, Smith charts, and tuning networks
• Proficient in using RF/microwave test equipment such as vector network analysers, spectrum analysers, anechoic chambers, shield boxes, sniffers, RF signal generator, oscilloscopes etc.
• Hands on experience in Linux OS & shell scripting
• Programming skills in C, C++ is added advantage
• Experience in developing automated test cases using scripting and programming language (Python) is a must
• Proficient in using network diagnosis tools including but not limited to Wireshark, iPerf etc.
• Strong test case creation, black box testing, documentation, and communication skills are a must.
• Experience on at least one Control Revision Tool such as Perforce, GIT, GERRIT
• Experience in integrating Test Automation suite with CI-CD pipeline
• Exposure to handling of RF PCB boards & FPGA boards.
