About the role: As a senior leadership position in Cloud Acceleration function, this role is responsible for the hands on Technology and Business services for operations and delivery of Cloud landscape. The role will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Application Development, Business partners, Corporate Systems, vendors / service providers and various infrastructure and operations groups to create and support an operational environment for new and existing services supported by Cloud Infrastructure. The successful candidate will enjoy using technology to develop automated solutions and optimize outcomes, implementing continuous integration and deployment in a fast paced environment. Work like an "entrepreneur" to drive adoption and implementation of Cloud solutioning and services. Engage and influence the Application owners to onboard new applications to Cloud. Identify new opportunities where Cloud function can drive and support the strategic business objectives of Application owners. Analyze the cloud infrastructure and provide financial updates and optimization recommendations. Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline for Application development teams. Develop and maintain services and integrations for Apps Services CI/CD pipeline. Drive fully automated and intelligent production environment. Create innovative solutions to prevent production incidents; to improve the reliability and availability of systems by gathering hard data; designing systems for increased service reliability and performance Understanding users behaviours, programming languages and platforms. Building super applications which incorporates aspects of software engineering and applies them to infrastructure and operations problems. The main goals are to create scalable and highly reliable software systems About you: Minimum 10 + years of experience in engineering, DevOps, or as a software engineering staff member, build/release/deployment automation. Extensive experience with container based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS. Ability to write code in Python/Go/Perl/Powershell or similar to solve automation/glue problems and develop effective tooling. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex Unix/Linux systems environment and applications implementations. Experience designing and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Salt and Kubernetes toolset (e.g, kubectl, kustomize). Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline security toolset (e.g Static/Dynamic Analysis and Security Testing (SAST/DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Image/Container/Container Registry scanning) Modern web services architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCE. In-Depth knowledge on AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53, Sagemaker. Experience in similar services for GCP is preferred. Passionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, and Delivery systems. Experience with software development processes such as building, unit testing, code analysis, release process, and code coverage. Source control management such as Git, SVN, different frameworks (e.g. JFrog) Experience with modern observability/monitoring systems such as ELK, Splunk, Nagios, Dynatrace, Datadog. 10AWS Cloud Architect and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications are highly desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with large development teams.
