Education Qualification: Technical degree i.e. BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering / Math / Physics / Chemistry or proven professional and technical experience

Greater than 6 years of industry experience with Oracle installation and setup of Oracle 11g and 12c database with ASM. Strong experience with Oracle Quarterly patches and upgrades from End of Life products (EOL) for various versions of Oracle products 12c and above.

Expertise in implementing Oracle 12c Multi-tenant, database installation, configuration and management.

Excellent DBA expertise with Production Database Administration, RMAN backup/recovery, Patching/Upgrades, Performance Tuning, Trouble-shooting, High Availability, Architecture Design, Infrastructure Analysis, Backup & Recovery and Disk Storage (ASM). Expert in Administration and Tools including OEM, RMAN, Cold & Hot Backups, Expdp/Impdp, OLAP/Partition/RAC, TOAD, SQL*PLUS

Experience with Unix, Linux and Windows system administration, Oracle Installation and Up-gradation, User managed Backup and Recovery, Fixing ORA - Errors, Database Refreshes and experience in Database migration, database change management and data management required

Data Security implementation via CyberArk, Firewall, User and schema management etc. Optimizing SGA and PGA memory area based on application needs. Experience with Automatic memory management (AMM), Automatic database diagnostic management (ADDM), Huge pages configuration for very large memory blocks.

Expert in Database Health Maintenance using Enterprise Manager, Self-developed shell scripts & methodology, Diagnostic, Tuning Pack and DBMS_ Utilities/Procedures

Experience with Enterprise Manager for monitoring and administering mission critical databases

Experience administering databases on Exadata is a strong plus

Strong troubleshooting skills to investigate errors and performance bottlenecks

Good knowledge in Data Modeling / Physical database design
