Job Description
The mission of the Linux Admin is to provide support in responding to customer requests for systems and products. The candidate should be very strong in Linux administration and scripting. This may include analyze problems and providing expertise on how so troubleshoot and resolve problems. This role must represent the company with high standards of quality and professionalism.
Desired Technical Skills:
- Strong fundamentals of Linux OS
- Linux Scripting and automation
- Server monitoring and administration
- Support ticket systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Zendesk
- Knowledge of SAS products and SAS Administration
- File system, permissions and Network monitoring
- Active Directory
Education and Qualification:
- Bachelor s or higher degree in computer science or an engineering related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Linux and system administration
- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving skills
