Location : Mumbai/Pune

Rotational Shift Mandate


  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers
  • Tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Responsible for creating, modifying & deleting users, groups and assigning the permissions to users and groups
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
  • Expertise in Logical Volume Manager
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell Scripting.
  • Hands on with virtualization technologies, OVM and VMWare
  • Managing Network Configuration and Network Bonding.
  • Building and managing Samba, Apache, NFS, Proxy/Web, mail, syslog, NTP, FTP, Database Server/Client.
  • Managing and Maintaining Red Hat Cluster
  • Setup security policies for users and servers. OS hardening. Troubleshooting Linux Related Errors.
  • Experience with Linux servers/distributions in virtualized environments
  • Knowledge on ITIL such as incident management, problem management and change management
