What do we do?

DocOn is a product-technology startup based out of Bengaluru. The objective is to make the Doctor-Patient interaction much more fruitful and smooth particularly in the OPD space. DocOn has a number of products that help the Doctor achieve this objective the major one being the Clinic Management Product. The Clinic Management Product is a platform-agnostic product that aspires to enable doctors to take their practice to the next level of quality care. DocOn s Clinic Management Product has already enabled more than 22 million prescriptions now. Apart from the Clinic Management Product, we do have solutions that help the receptionist, patients in appointment booking, video consultations, at-home medicine delivery etc as well.

What you will do?

• Understanding the business problem at hand along with the Business & Product Team and help in making data-driven decisions

• Solving and designing solutions for business problems

• Extracting & Exploring the data from the database and other sources that may exist, cleaning the data for any issues/missing values also needs to be owned upon

• Converting the cleaned data into actionable insights and sharing the same with the relevant audience

• Automation of data problems/solutions that occur recursively

• Ensure that the action insights shared with the business/product teams are worked upon

• Story-telling, Visualisation and end to end ownership of the business problem

• Ensure new business requirements are thoroughly vetted and signed off

• Stakeholder Management would be expected from this role

What skills will help?

• 3+ years of work Experience in Data Analytics & Science
• Proficient in at least one SQL database, ability to handle complex/inner queries/window functions/stored procedures

• Hands-on & in-depth experience of anyone Data Visualization Tool (Tableau, Qlikview, Qliksense, Spotfire, Power BI etc)

• Automation skills using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel or via R/Python Scripting

• Excellent Programming Skills (R or Python) and good practical knowledge of implementing ML Algorithms

• Communication skills to get the business requirements and give out the final insights

• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure like AWS/GCP/Azure and working with APIs is a good-to-have but not mandatory

• Data Inquisitiveness & ability to learn/adapt to the environment quickly

• Agility and hustling as part of the DNA

• Working knowledge on handling data in R/Python

Educational Qualification

Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant field
