Job Title: Analyst/Sr Analyst

Location: Pune, India

Position Description

• Deutsche Bank is exposed to a number of risks on a daily basis. These range from credit losses, market price volatility and operational failures to liquidity shortages and regulatory and legal matters.
• The central compliance staff in Bangalore and Jaipur, help protect the bank by promoting in partnership with the business a culture of compliance.
• Surveillance Analysts play a key role in assisting the Bank detect and investigate potential issues or problems, and helping address resulting regulatory, policy or reputational issues

Your key responsibilities

Monitor and Review Communication and Trade Surveillance alerts generated by system on a daily basis.

Report exceptions to Hong Kong team on a daily basis.

Record evidence of monitoring & review performed.

Ensure that KPI delivery is strictly in line with the Banks policies & procedures

Escalate all issues properly, in time, to the appropriate level and seek assistance to avoid any adverse impact on the business.

Familiarize oneself with the function specific MIS.

Supporting, attending and following-up of the respective Team meetings

Participate and cross train oneself across different products and activities.

Specifics:

May be required to cover functions globally, with the possibility of working shifts. Initially the shift is expected to be APAC timings.

Your skills and experience

Should display an analytical bent of mind and ability to retain vast amount of data.

Should have ability to process and analyse diverse transactional behaviour and display sound judgement in escalations.

Good Knowledge of financial markets and investment vehicles.

Exposure to equity trading processes, derivative processes is required.

Team player with great attitude and work ethic and a strong attention to details

Ability to multi-task on several different assignments/projects, works well under pressure and meet deadlines

Skills:

English language proficiency (oral and written) required

Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required. Proficiency in Access a strong plus

Experience/Exposure

Graduate in any stream with 1-2 years of work experience. Investment Banking experience would be a plus.
